Hello, my
lovelies! It seems like it’s been simply ages since I’ve had time to do a post!
Well, two weeks, really, which to me, is simply ages. But between traveling and
work, I just haven’t had time. My blog is still pink from October but I love pink and the way it looks and what it represents so I'm going to leave it for a while a longer! But going so long without a post has been driving me crazy because I have
a couple of indie Christmas/Holiday lines to review for you, and I had fully
intended to start posting these last week!
Today, I
have two of Pretty and Polished's 2012 Holiday line! I was lucky enough to be
selected as one of the bloggers to get in on this, which is so exciting to me! Let’s
get to the pretties! Warning! Pic heavy!
First up, we
have Xmas Wreath, described as a dark green base and is packed with green
shreds, red hexes, and holo golden glitter. If it sounds a little familiar, she
did a similar one last year but reformulated it this year, and man, is it
gorgeous. It applied very smoothly and this is three coats, no top coat.
The other I
chose is Pretty As A Peacock. I love this stunning polish, an emerald green
base filled with teal, blue, purple, and green glitters. This would really pop
over black or a navy base too but I used it one its own to showcase its sheer
beauty. The sun was starting to go down when I took the photos but look at how
electrifying it seems in the twilight. The hex glitters practically glow.
Breathtaking! Also three coats, no top coat, and a nice, smooth application.
Remember these are only two of her gorgeous Holiday
polishes, so be sure to go by her store and check out the rest! You can find
her on Etsy, and Facebook for updates. Polishes on average are $8 full size, $4 for
minis. She's got lots of gorgeous variety so go check her out!
Pretty! Glad you're back - I missed your posts
