Today I have for you a beautiful polish by one of my favorite indie makers, Different Dimension!

I actually bought this quite a while ago but I’m just now wearing it, and wishing I had done it sooner! Meet Amphitrite, a beautiful frosty teal with gold glitter. This baby shimmers in the sun and flashes green at times, which I couldn’t capture with the camera. It's a gorgeous summery color!

It’s been far, far too long since we last visited. This pesky thing called work swooped in and took over my life the last few months, and unfortunately, the blog fell to the wayside. Most days I didn’t even have time to do my nails and would wear the same polish for 3 or 4 days (the horror!) ;)

But I think, things are easing up now and I hope to at least get once post in a week for now, and back up to 2-3 postings a week by the end of June.  I think I debuted this blog last year on Memorial Day, so my one year blogaversary should be here!

Naughty Nails Art Contest!

Lovelies, we’re going to get serious for a moment. Did you know, it is estimated that 70% of women and men will come into contact with human papillomavirus during their life? That’s the group of viruses that can lead to cervical cancer!

Regular Pap tests, supplemented by appropriate HPV testing, will detect virtually all pre-cancerous changes and cervical cancers, and cervical cancer is completely preventable if pre-cancerous cell changes are detected and treated early. And considering that we can’t exactly look down and examine the cervix by ourselves, it makes it extra important to get that routine exam! I have another indie review for you today! Today, the spotlight is on Different Dimension. Different Dimension is an indie polish that I had been following for a while, and tried out when she first ran her “Right to Vote” promo back in September, which I participated in and reviewed. I liked the polish so much that when she had a sale recently, I bought a few more, and had to share them with you! (and for the record, she has frequent awesome sales, so be sure to keep an eye on her Facebook page for them!)

I am in luuuuve with Different Dimension polishes. Fast shipping, fabulous formulas, to die for colors-they are awesome and a must try if you haven’t!

You all know how much I love the wide range of copper/brown/orange/peach/coral/pink. Well, all of the colors kind of fall into the fall brown-copper range because they were so beautiful, I just couldn’t choose between them!  So let’s get to the pretties!

Different Dimension: Right to Vote 2012!

Hello, my lovelies! 

On this beautiful fall day, I am enjoying the windows open and all the fresh air. And not so enjoying a couple of newly shortened nails. I looked down at my hand Friday and realized that 4 corners had chipped off of my nails! I hate that! And on one, both sides of different lengths! So it’s practically a nubbin. Sigh. At least I have a pretty new mani to ease the pain! 

Today I am trying a new polish from indie maker DifferentDimension. I have not tried her polish before, though I had been eyeing a few. When she ran a recent promo though, I grabbed one. It’s a really cool promo that I believe is still going on and I’m going to tell you about it so you can get in on it also.
