Indie review: Mentality Nail Polish!

Hello, my lovelies!

Do you like the new graphics? January weather is always so dark and dreary and cold and nasty that I decided to make some pretty snowy graphics for the blog. These were inspired by my friend Mary (not guest blogger Mary, a different Mary!) who is fabulously talented and makes beautiful graphics.. Mine isn’t as pretty as hers was but it’ll do! Then I added some icicles and cool purply blues to the header graphic as well, because I loathe the cold and never feel like I get warm during winter!

For today’s pretties, I have a couple of Mentality Nail Polish polishes to share with you! My friend Sue really likes Mentality so I decided to give a couple of them a try. These are really nice formulas, very smooth and glided right on. Forgive my short nails, two broke off and I cut the others down to match them! I’m definitely not as skilled at painting them when short, LOL!

First up we have Entice, a lovely milk chocolate-coppery brown holo from The Precious Holos collection. You know me and coppery brown polishes! The holo isn’t super strong on this one, but it’s still a beautiful polish. This is two coats, no top coats. The second is slightly blurry as I was trying to capture the holo effect better.

Then we have Elation, a lovely sky blue linear holo, from The Brilliant Holo collection. This beautiful baby went on three thin coats, and is shown with no top coat.

These were both really lovely polishes and I look forward to getting more! Mentality Nail Polish can be purchased in their Big Cartel shop, where they range from $7 - $9, and be sure to check out their Facebook page for sneak peeks and updates!

    1. thanks, Ruth! That's because they broke and I had to file them down, LOL. I don't really like them and they feel weird!

  4. I love your new shorter, slightly curved nails just like Ruth! And Mentality has some great polishes - I have a few more to try.

    1. thanks, Sue! I tend to pick at them more if they're short so I'm hoping they grow quickly! I'm a little disappointed with Entice, I have to be in sunlight to really get the holo to come out but I like Elation a lot!
