Indie Review: Pretty & Polished!

Hello, my lovelies!

Today I have something for special for you! I am very pleased to be able to show you a couple of the soon-to-be released “Save the Dauphine” collection by Pretty & Polished!

This of course, is a reference to Marie Antoinette, who inspired a whole line of beautiful polishes.

The first of the two I have to show you is The Diamond Necklace Affair. This is a clear base with multiple size and shape glitters in blue, green and silver. Here I’ve layered it over Milani Black Swift to really make it pop and shine, no top coat. It shifts color a lot under light, and flashes a lot of green and blue. It’s really hard to capture on film but it’s absolutely gorgeous.

The second is Louis Louis. Louis Louis is a beautiful semi-sheer golden base with blue, green, and red glitters. It builds nicely and is a very festive polish. Louis Louis has a gorgeous shimmer to it, especially under the light hat only partially comes through.

The third polish I have is not from the Save the Duaphine collection but was just recently released, called “Swamped”. This caught my eye because it’s not the typical Christmas green, though it was released around Christmas. It’s a murky, mossy green, packed with red, gold, green and purple multi size and shape glitters. I love it! This is three coats, no top coat.

Pretty & Polished can be purchased at their new store shopprettyandpolished.com, and their Etsy shop, where polishes average $9 a bottle, $5 for minis, and be sure to check out their Facebook page for updates. There’s always new stuff in the works like color changing polishes so be sure to check frequently!
