Indie Review: Smitten Polish!

Hello, my lovelies!

It’s a cold day here in DC and it’s time to show off SmittenPolish! Smitten is another wonderful indie that I’m in love with! I got these a while back but I’ve been a bit behind lately. I did catch her Cyber Monday sale for a couple more pretties, so I’m waiting for those.

I’ve got lots of pics to show you, so here we go. Warning, pic heavy! All formulas were very smooth and applied super easily.

Appropriate for this time of year, first up is Winter is Coming, inspired by one of my all-time favorite book series A Song of Fire and Ice (tv show is named for Book 1 – Game of Thrones). Winter is Coming is the motto of House Stark, the ward of the icy north. I’m not normally a fan of white polishes but I liked this one and I’m fan of House Stark, so I had to have it. Winter Is Coming is a lovely mix of “several sizes of blue glitter plus fine white shimmer suspended in a creamy white base”. Here I have it layered over Milani White On The Spot, no top coat. Perfect for the coming winter season!

Also inspired by Game of Thrones is Fire and Blood, the motto of House Targaryen. House Targaryen ruled the Seven Kingdoms for 300 years and claim to have the blood of dragons. I’m very fond of House Targaryen and wish Dany much luck. Fire and Blood is a bright, squishy red base, with red & gold holo hex, and red micro glitters. Gorgeous! This is three coats, no top coat.

Next up is Mint Chip. Every time I look at this, I want ice cream! A light, minty green base with 2 sizes of brown glitters. 3 coats shown here, no top coat.

And finally, we have Spice Cake, from the fall collection. I think is my favorite of the four.  It’s “several sizes of orange, gold and brown glitters suspended in an orangey base”. It’s warm, orangey, fallish, coppery glittery gorgeousnessperfect for me! This is 3 coats of smooth fall perfection, no top coat.

See, I'm Smitten! Teehee!

  1. Wow! The Mint Chip polish really does look amazingly like ice cream. Spice Cake, however, has to be my favourite. Gorgeous!
