Glitter Gal Furnace Glow Soft!

Hello, my lovelies!

I think Mother Nature decided we were getting soft and cranked up the heat in this part of the country this week! I hope everyone's AC is working.

I've got a real beauty of a duochrome this week for you, and it fits with the hot weather. Glitter Gal Furnace Glow Soft. I bought some GG's ages ago and am just now getting to use them (a recurring theme with me lately! Trying to use my untrieds!). Glitter Gal is an Australian brand but can be purchased in the US.

This is a stunning pink to orange duochrome. Application was smooth and easy, and this is three coats. Please ignore the funny dent in my ring finger; not sure what's going on with my nail but I should have used some ridge filler, evidently! I tried to catch all the color shifts by moving my hand around but I am terrible at trying to capture the beauty of these. Out in the sun, it's a full on gorgeous copper! Of course, I failed to get a pic of it. Oops!

If you think it looks familiar, I thought so too. It's about the right color and shift to be close to Sally Hansen Lava and Nails Inc New Buckington Place. I was half-right. I did a  comparison swatch on a nail wheel. NBP has WAY more shimmer and a deeper rose pink color so I didn't bother swatching it once I held the bottles next to each other. Lava is closer in color but still a brighter pink, and still has way more shimmer, whereas the shimmer in FGS is almost nonexistent.

So there you have it! Another beautiful orange-pink duochrome. Glitter Gal can be purchased through their website, Llarowe and Harlow & Co. They average about $15 a piece.
