Literary Lacquers Carrots Carrots!

Hello, my lovelies! How is your weekend going? I'm at my yearly reunion with friends, having a blast!

I have for you today another of the Anne of Green Gables collection by Literary lacquers. I can't help them, I love them so much!

If memory serves, Anne was ignoring Gilbert her first day in school, and he got a bit irritated, so he leaned over and whispered, "Carrots! Carrots!" because of her bright red hair. Her response? Smashing her slate over his head, in true redhead fashion!

Carrots Carrots is a lovely "peachy-orange creme/jelly hybrid loaded with many types of orange glitter with just a touch of white glitter." There are numerous sizes and shapes of glitter in here and they really pop again the peach. I was afraid it might be too pale with my fair skin, but it isn't, and it really comes alive in the sun. It is a bit sheer, leaving the nail visible, but an extra coat or a color underneath will fix that. I rather like the look though, and it's a very soft and feminine polish. This is three thin coats topped with Seche Vite. The formula was quite smooth, as with glitter, let the coats dry a bit in between so your glitters don't get smeared around.

Literary Lacquers can be found on Facebook, and in her Etsy store, where full sized polishes average $10. Be sure to check out the rest of this collection and her other polishes!

  1. This looks fantastic on you! I had this but I ended up giving it away as it didn't look great on me :( But I still did like it a lot.
